Kellogg's "Hey There Its Yogi Bear"

I was just thinking about this the other day. Kellogg's had a mail in story album of the Yogi Bear movie. I had a copy that my grandmother had originally sent to my brother. I must have played that thing almost every day for a couple of years when I was 3 and 4 years old. Alas, the poor record cracked in half.

Anyone have this or any other record from a cereal box? I had a couple of Monkees and Archies songs, too.
    It's all good!

I had (and have now) those cut-out cereal box records, and IMO, they're the BEST cereal box prize EVER! I had Archie, Jackson 5, Scary sounds for Halloween, Sugar Bear, and I think even Josie. Now I also have Bobby Sherman.

Do they still play after all these years? I would imagine that the plastic used on the boxes would be as inexpensive as they could make them.
      It's all good!

Actually, the only original ones I have left from childhood are one Jackson 5 and Sugar Bear. The J5 one is more worn than Sugar Bear but it still plays (it even skips a bit and so does Sugar Bear!) The others I got from Ebay and a friend. The other J5 hasn't even a crackle on it, and plays really fine! It's always a hit when I bring these to school and play them for Cartoons and Comics week!

Trust me, George...if they made those for Shaun, (and David too!), I'd own them! Sadly, no one ever did.

My brother hated those records. He had the only phonograph in the house, and he swore I was ruining the needle every time I played one of those records.

Think B.A. Where did you hide the Megos?
