Cup Of Coke Vending Machine

They had those cup dispensing machines at the YMCA when I was a kid....along a candy machine (with the pull-out knobs), an ice cream sandwich machine, a hot soup machine, a coffee/hot chocolate machine and a catch-all that had sandwiches/pastries/etc. on rotating shelves. All lined up in a row in the hallway just outside the gameroom (foosball, bumper pool, ping pong and regular pool).

The college here had those as well, my sister would have meetings there when I was a kid and I would tag along. It was a wall of gold and brown and you could get anything out of those machines.

Years later, I would be having coffee with a friend who uses a ton of sugar and asked him about it. He laughed and said "I used to pull all nighters at the college, if you ever tasted the coffee out of that machine, you'd understand"

WOW, I totally forgot about those vending machines. Yeah, I remember them as a lid & have not seen one in decades. That would be pretty cool to have in your personal home. I bet they are pretty rare though.
