This is a news item from 2010 based on news info from 2009 that is discussed in this thread here and J.J. Abrams is NOT directing it, he was (as last discussed) considering producing the film.

In general “doctor09210” your impulsive posts are grating on my nerves and I know I am not the only one. I speak only for myself, but unless you have something positive/new to add, please just don’t post obsessively without a reason.
