REPLACING THE "O" RING IN THE GI JOE STYLE ACTION FIGURE.
In this case, using the Mego Buck Rogers Wilma Deering figure.
First disassemble the Aveng...(ahem) figure. For this you will need a very small cross tip screwdriver. I picked up this set at Home Depot for about $3.
Remove the screw in the back of the figure and pull it apart. Remove the old/damaged ring from the 'coathanger' joining the legs together and replace it with a new one.
Insert the ring into the lower torso and pull it through. If you have fat fingers like me, you might want to use the screwdriver for this
Now hook the ring over the back part of the upper torso. Place the head and arms on the back and carefully lay the front over the back. Lean the figure back until the front drops into place.
Insert and tighten the screw, unless you lost it when you took it out, in which case, you are screwed.
Some old worn out rings and their replacements.
CCC.
