Love Boat Figures

The boat could have a lot of uses for it. Use it for your 3 3/4" G.I. Joes for example. Let either Destro or Tomax and Xamot use it. Or just let Cobra attack it.

I owned one for a while and it just didn't fit. I kept my Isaac though.

I have been wanting that one for awhile. I am a playset freak and this piece is just to strange and wonderful not to own.

These Love Boat figures are awesome! I remember seeing them as a kid and really thinking “Wow, who do they want to buy this?” I mean nowadays we have all kinds of ironic/odd adult collector figures based on TV shows. But this stuff was clearly made for and marketed to kids. Who would play with it? Why would they play with it? What is the “action.”

I’d really like to meet someone who was a kid when these came out and willfully bought them.

It's funny that you said that because when I saw this thread, I was thinking the only figure I would like to get from this line is Isaac! If I'm ever going to set up a 3 3/4" diorama for ANY series of figures, it needs to have Isaac standing behind a bar on the side. Star Wars, Pocket Heroes, Clash of the Titans, Buck Rogers, Remco Monsters, Raiders, GI Joe, Adventure People, Micronauts? Yep, Isaac standing at the bar would fit right in with any of those sets and make them cooler.

Anyone else remember the mego Love Boat action figures? I remember seeing them all the time at BEST when I was a kid. Of course they always sat there and i imagine it wasn't a big sale. I couldn't imagine mixing my star wars and other toys with them back then. Anyway I came across this on Ebay and wanted to know if anyone here actually had them.
