Conan Vs. the Giant Reptile - This just happened a half hour ago.







This guy is actually about 3 feet long, and was hanging out in our barn. I see rattle snakes often out hiking and I leave them alone. I normally like snakes, but I can't have rattlers in the barn, because of the ponies, dogs, and especially that my GF hates them. I scooped him up with the rake and neatly severed the head with my machette.

I was trying to measure him, and as you can see, his body kept moving around on it's own. Kind of creepy.

Sorry, Conan - I cut up a lot of snakes when I was young myself.
