    What would Andy do?

Lily just asked if she could play with my Megos. I know they have cash value and could get damaged, but if I say 'no' to them being played it would be a death sentence for them.

She took them from the display case, opened up Photo Booth and is filming Avengers v Bat Villains.

I'll post something (though it make take forever for me to do it)

Anyway, I am pretty happy she is playing with them and even if one gets damaged, it can be fixed. Can't put a price on the joy they bring me to see them played with.

Completely agree - toys are made for play.
I've had the same issue ( a ton of my friends now have offspring of various pre-teen ages, nephew included) most toys can be fixed/replaced but theres always a bin or two of stuff that is pre-approved to become play fodder. Now that I reflect on it - most of my grown friends will pull stuff off the shelf to play with, guess I have to keep an eye on them as well.

I'm not in the business because I want to collect some figure that sits in a box and is never touched. (all though I do own ten of those) the rest (about two-hundred and something) are on open shelves and my daughter played with them including the customs.
Most of the customs were her idea from reading my comicbooks and she would say, "Make this guy" or "Can you make this person"....etc.

Enjoy the time your child wants to play. They will get older and lose interest fast.
More custom Mego madness on Facebook right here...

glad you posted Brad - you reminded me that I need to upload the video stuff Lily (age 8) did by herself with photobooth
in the meantime here is an impromptu video Eleanor (age 4) and I did

PS - get a ton of Action Jacksons - they are as cheap as remego and more fun
