Moon Base Alpha...sort of (Thanks mikeoz & pmwasson)

I bought some backdrops (from the awesome mikeoz) and some chairs (from the amazing pmwasson) with some sand from a local art store, slapped together some Space 1999 scenes.

I didn't assemble the Moon Base panels due to space restrictions (1 bedroom apt), they were just attached to some foamcore for easy storage...

My original Koenig - off ebay... looking calm and collected

Having a chat with Victor Bergman, tried to recreate that large moon globe he had in his office...styrofoam ball painted black... not quite working

Lets talk about how we're DOOOOOMED!

Someone needs to vacuum... added different numbers to each pack, pretty sure they dont match the character... will have to do some research and fix it...if needed

Season 2...meh ... Season 1 was cooler (IMO)

Red 9 standing ...oh wait... how many Eagles did this place have? Cause like 4-6 would blow up every episode...

SUPER displays......! I love my vintage Koenig. I just watched the Special Features on my Blu-Ray Year 1 set this morning. It will always be my all-time favorite show..

I'm not a Space 1999 fan, but your pics really look good! Hey, I bought one of those space packs, and I can't figure out how to put it on my guys!

                Thank you all !
It did become playtime when I was working on this. Girlfriend was out of town for the weekend, so my kitchen became a studio... living room was the prep area, bed staging area ... idle hands...

HardyGirl - unfortunately I've never had to remove the packs from the dolls, just added the head of a resin Koenig ... now that I look at one ... maybe the back or front part opens and the straps connect inside???

                          again Thanks

once more - thank you guys
(this really is one of the friendlier sites I've been on)

I think after collecting, then customizing, the third thig I get out of the hobby is the filming or photographing the toys
last year I went to the beach and brought a second bag with some Star Wars Tatooine themes figures and toys
While laying on my blanket set up lil' scenes and snapped off some pics.

I think I got the pic skill genetically from my Dad - he's got some serious talent ,growing up he always had the camera out on all the trips and family functions. We had pics on the walls that folks thought were from a calendar or purchased (Grand Canyon, Philly, NYC)

and I'm also a lil' geeked with the pics being on Lasermego!!!

I need to find some time to take pics of pmwasson's other items I've gotten. I'm really happy w/the products he offers (medical bed, table, bridge chairs)

                            HardyGirl..,

Here's my post from a while back on removing the space packs, step-by-step. It's pretty easy..: Just pull the arms and legs off (easier than you think..).

I have my vintage Carter and Koenig in those new suits here (just haven't gotten around to updating the pack numbers..).
