Thanks for the link. I've actually been there before to see those pics, they're pretty okay but most of them are lo res and black and white. I'm really stunned there are not more color photographs of toy aisles from back in the day.

I have one awesome pic taken in probably 1980, it's a color shot of probably 500 MOC WGSH at a Kaybee store... if I can dig it up I'll post it.

As you are noticing, this kind of thing is frustratingly rare. The Plaidstallions archive (painstakingly compiled by the Mego Museum's curator Palitoy) is actually quite amazing and I'm grateful it exists.

If you dig that photo up we'd be thrilled to see it.
