I agree and have offered to sponsor cards. Megoscott explained to me that other cards are planned but also noted the personal time involved in designing them.

I'm hopeful at some point that we'll see Oz cards.

Yeah, trust me, funding isn't the problem. COUNTLESS hours are spend designing and creating cards. Between the photography and all of the digital work, you wouldn't believe how many hours are needed to create a card. And Scott creates his own background art in Illustrator. I can't even imagine how much time is spent on the backgrounds alone. And, speaking of photography, you gotta have the figures to photograph. If you don't, you either have to borrow them or rely on someone else to photograph them for you. Anyway, you get the picture. It's a pretty major undertaking to produce cards.

How about a Mego Museum contest for the best new card designed by a member (not series of cards, just one card)

Perhaps we can have a vote to decide who wins.

Before the contest begins we make sure we have a few card sponsorers to pay the expense (they'd have to agree site-unseen)... give them a kudos with their name on the back like before.

The one that that would set this card apart from all other non Museum cards, it would be an official Mego Museum card.

Every time this comes up I tell myself, what the hell, spend an afternoon making a new card. It's not that big a deal. But I always have other things to do, even when I'm doing work in the Mego world my time is better spent on the galleries or website or on the former Dida Displays than creating cards that are hard to distribute and end up on eBay anyway.

We aren't going to do Mego Museum cards with another artist. That project was mine and I reserve the right to declare it ended at 90+ cards. But I don't say NEVER. I can see all those other cards in my head and want to make them too.

ive really enjoyed collecting the museum cards ...and it was very difficult for me to complete them as I started late ... all the hard skilled work gone into them is really fantastic...

I guess its best to be happy with all the superb museum cards you brought to us rather than the ones you haven't ....

I would just like to say a massive thank you for the cards you have made. Like a lot of people here i think it would be great to make the cards into a nice round 100, as you say never say never.
