Circulating the Oldies

OK I rarely get an opportunity to send out as many packets as I am with Megozine right now. Along with the new Museum card (it's #99 BTW) I'm digging around and adding stuff from Trek, Apes, Monsters, American West, Robin Hood, even some Superheroes to every order.

So hopefully it'll kick start some trading or even some acts of kindness in this forum.

Question - with the last official Mego Museum card being #90 Wild Bill Hickok, is there a reason that the new cards is #99? Is this a hint that there going to be something in the furure to fill in the gap from 91 - 98?

Here's my guess.

The next series was going to be Wizard of Oz

perhaps some cards are almost completed and still sitting on the drawing board

but

Oz cards aren't GRAND enough to re-launch the series ......

So, they are on temporary hold

So their numbers are on hold too

Interesting, close but not dead on. It probably had more to do with the ease designing a single card as opposed to a series but none the less, close.

It wouldn't have mattered, I can't do individual requests right now. I'm shipping orders in the evenings and picking individual cards is just not possible. It's totally random and will remain as such.

Hopefully the folks who get spares will circulate and/or trade them here again, that was always the goal.

I LOVE CAR #99!!!!!! Finally!!! THank You THank You Thank You!!!!!! I do miss seeing the superhero cards, I'm happy to hear a few more are floating out there.... No hero in my lot, but the cards I did get are fantastic, thank you so much for your generousity.
