How to get Mego Cards

I've been a member here for about a year, and I consider myself a bit of an expert at navigating the different threads, posting pictures/information, etc. But the one thing I don't know.....is about the cards. I have no idea how somebody can get these cards. I first got my first card when TMANSTOYS was giving them away (I got MM #35, Clark Kent). I traded it for Toyman_Chris’s WGSH Checklist Card (No offense TMAN). But other than that I have no idea how to collect them or acquire them. I know it says “trade and discuss” but how does one get them first to trade? I'd appreciate any help! Thanks!

You are on your way. This is how it starts. You aquire a few cards and do some creeative trading when you can. A lot of the members will send you cards when you buy things from them on the Market Place here on the forums. Some will have trivia to give their extra cards away. Others will just send out a few cards if you ask.

Taking this as an example:

TMANSTOYS put up a thread giving away his extra cards. You were able to get one. You emailed me asking to trade it, for one of mine that you preferred to have. I will end up sending you 5 or 6 for your 1. And there you go.....

It takes time and patience, but as you become a more prominent fixture on these forums, you will be amazed at the great friends you will make here. That makes this hobby we all love, just that much better!

Cards are included when you purchase stuff in the marketplace if the seller has extras. Other than that the best way is to just ask here. I'm sure people with doubles and such will send you what they can to help get you started.
