Getting ready for Homemade 6MDM. Which style?

I'm getting ready to do more of my Homemade cards, this time for SMDN and have come up with two card styles - which do you like?

I like the TV screen version, just bring the top of the screen down a hair from the lettering. Excellent job!

I like the black border. The square edges are a little cleaner. Cool idea by the way.

Guess I'll be the tie breaker with the TV set style. It is more retro. Now how do I get one when they're made?

I like them both but i agree that if you go with the tv version the tv needs to come down towards the bottom of the card and away from the name.

Here is the TV version with the top moved down a bit to give the name more room.

I'll post that information when they are ready. I'm also doing cards for BSG.

The TV border is a good idea but looks a little wierd vertically. I like the standard border but perhaps a different color like red. Just my 2 cents.

I like the black border better

The TV border makes it look like it's part of a larger set --- like "TV's Greatest Heroes" etc.

If the card were horozontally oriented the TV screen would be killer, but doesn't really work for the vertical image. I prefer the black border but I think I would mute the black so it's not so vivid. As I studied the cards that white streak seemed to stand out more & more. Best advice - remember they're your cards and to many cooks yadda yadda....

Black Border is the way to go. Very cool.

Call me crazy, but why not try a pink color that matches the packaging the original figures came in? I think it would look cool!

I like the TV version. But it does look kinda strange vertically. Maybe you could use both versions. Black border for vertical shots, and the TV screen for horizontal. Just a thought.

I like the TV border one, it makes it look like a bubblegum card.

Not crazy. I hadn't thought of that. Something like this:

I like that bubblegum card look too but I agree that the tv version looks wonky vertically. Maybe something inbetween like this.
