Mego Popy Cards! YOUR help is Needed!

Below is the concept for my next project. I will be making cards for all eight boxed 8 inch Popy figures. I own Superman, Spiderman and Batman, but none of the others. So... I though it would be fun to invite the Museum community to participate and help me with the imagery for these cards. If you own any of these figures, try your hand at photography and shoot them in whatever poses you think would make a nice card image. If you own the boxes, photograph or scan the artwork on them. Email all of your images to [email protected]. Send me as high a resolution file as you can for each image, and if you have problems with emailing, I can give you some info for ftp or idisk transfer. I'll pick the images that work best and we'll create another set of awesome cards. No hurry as this project will take some months to produce, but I do want to finish it before summer.

Very excited about these Scott and good luck finding someone to pose a Ultraman and Ultraseven for you. I dare not even look at my Ultraman, in case it make his clothes fall off

I can't pose my Gatchaman as he has never been removed from his box, however I am happy to take scans of the box for you...let me know if you need them.

I'd be very grateful for the box scans, Cat. And, yeah, I don't want anyone removing figures from boxes or damaging them. You can just send me photos of them as they sit in your displays or shelves.

Here is a sneak peek at the Mego Popy Batman, Spiderman and Superman cards and a photo of the boxes for comparison. I have received several images for the other 5 Popy 8" figures and boxes. Keep em coming! I can use all the imagery I can get. I have a lot of work to do on these, but they will be out soon.

Those are gorgeous Scott, love the way the front graphics corresponds to the box art. Are you going to follow the pink on the Bat box? It looks red on the card.
