    Mego Museum Trading Card Game

Back when it was a new thing I played a lot of Magic the Gathering. Never really was a card collector before or since. I have a few of the MM cards but not a collector. I think I might have had as many as twenty at one time but have given most of them away over the years.
All that being said, I think it would be cool to do a reset of the MM cards but as a tcg. Stats and info tastefully presented on the front and the back of the card with the MM logo.

Instead of playing with Mego figures, playing with Mego figure cards?

The Mego packages should come with cards to cut out! That way if you want to play the game, you have to get the figures. Think about how many more figures would sell!

That would be a fun dynamic. There was on sold role playing game/war game called Toy Wars that had simplified rules for using toys and action figures as miniatures in tabletop gaming battles. Way back long ago in the late 20th century. Using those rules as a codifier for the action figure or vehicle playset on the card and standard tcg mechanics we could come up with a decent playable game. Imagine being able to card game play out the epic WGSH vs the Lincoln Monsters battle from the catalog photo shoot. Include in the modern rereleases from NuLincoln with their permission of course and Neca. You could have a battle of the FTC/Mego shark vs the BBP Sheldon and the Neca Bob Ross.

An impressive 4 minutes of research has helped ne remember the name of the game as Fuzzy Heroes. This could actually be a fun adaptation of the Megoverse as a trading card game.
