    I rarely go into a comic shop these days. But when I do it is Laughing Ogre. They are near my house, have toys, occasional events, back issues and good people.
    I bought a lot of 80's comics at Half Price books in the 90's.

    Couple places you might want to go while not at the meet:

    Big Fun. 9.5 miles from courtyard, but a must for the toy collector. https://www.facebook.com/pg/BigFunCo...=page_internal

    Packrat Comics is 4 miles from Courtyard. I don't use it (not close to my house), but friends love it. More than just comics.

    Cartoon Library and research at OSU (20 minute drive)

    Places your family might prefer.

    Columbus Zoo (20 minute drive)

    COSI kids science museum (15 min drive)

    Art Museum (15 minute drive) FREE on Sundays

    Ohio History Museum (17 minute drive)

    Short North Gallery hop Saturday evening. local art, wine, social, walking FREE (15 min drive) PS- BIG FUN is in the short north and will likely be open during Hop

    Historic Ohio State house and museum 15 min drive FREE

    National Air Force museum dayton (1 hour drive) FREE

    Downtown 15 minutes,
    Short North 20 minutes,
    OSU 20 minutes,
    Airport 20 mins
