Friday: Portillo's and Quake Collectibles

We managed to drag a good crowd out across the street to Portillo's just prior to the lunch rush so that we could all sit together.

My own regret is only getting to eat there once this year, but the beef and sausage is as tasty as I remembered from last year. Certainly a highlight.

after lunch, most of us headed to Quake Collectibles in Chicago, crammed full of goodies. The owner Dave, was as gracious and kind as last year. There were so many of us in there initially, it was a bit tough to move around.

Despite losing a day got to have Portillo's twice. Glad this was one of them!
