Cincinnati Gathering 2.0

THe word Meet is a Museum exclusive so I will not infringe on the trademark.

I am planning on July 20 or July 27, both Saturdays. It's nothing too formal, same location as the last time. Feel free to bring some show and tell stuff, customs, rarities or whatever you'd like. There's quite a bit of roon in the clubhouse. There wasn't any commerce the last time, and that's probably a good thing. It's just Mego guys getting together, meeting face to face and just talking shop. It might sound boring, and to some it may be. I can assure you the guys who made it last time left with more than they came with in the way of friendships and brotherhood. So, I'm calling out to those in the vicinity. Louisville, Lexington/N.Ky, Columbus, Indianapolis are all not too far. We'll have the best local pizza or go out to eat, and maybe we'll build a Mego fort out of boxes. Who knows?

PM me or post here if there is any interest. I think with all the tensions that Summer heat brings on, it would be pretty darn cool to relax with like-minded individuals.

Not sure how set in stone that date is but you might want to consider having it during the Cincinnati Comic Con. It's something else to do that's right up our alley, plus I've got a booth there.

Well, my work has shut down PTO days from July 27 thru Sept 7 for the Back to school rush. My life is going to be a treat during that time. I just figured the third Saturday would be pretty doable. Great to see some initial interest.

I'm in for the CON Craig. Thanks for posting that date. I haven't been to a Comic show in well over a decade, probably closer to 1999. Looking forward to it, but I'm a little disappointed in the artists and creators so far. I'll just buy some stuff to put me in a better mood.

It's their first year and I really hope it catches on. Having a comic con this close to home would be a huge plus for me. There's a lot to do in Cincinnati and the surrounding areas so I feel like this has the potential to be big at some point. The one I went to in Lexington this year also seemed to have a lot of potential.

Wizard Ohio is later in the month too. I will be in Ohio for both cons. ;-)
