Incredible. I figured it was an advertising character who interacted with both Marvel and DC but I was racking my brain to find out who!

My line of thinking took me to licensed characters like Tarzan and Conan, then to characters who appeared on Scooby Doo, the Hostess ads, and vintage toy store mascots. I am sure with more time and possibly some less cryptic clues, I would have gotten there!
