and seeing the Mego Meet 10 section open up has me doubly so.

I know it's still seven months away, but after having attended/exhibited at close to two dozen cons and shows this past year, this one is still my all time favourite. Filled with friends and fun.

No matter where it's held, more than any other con I've been to, this one's all about the people that go and hang out for the weekend. Y'all are the best. It's really tough to find a crowd that really "gets you" like the folks here online and in person. Maybe now more than ever, as pop culture and tastes shift towards younger demographics.

I hope to be wheelchair racing, and swapping heart medication/blood thinners with everyone at the Meet in ten/twenty years. (is it wrong that I think this is probably what goes on at the Marx Meets?)

No motorcycle ride this year, I am driving. So I plan to be there all weekend and hopefully I won't have the health and sleep deprivation issues that plagued me the past 3 years that I am pretty certain were because of the long ride. I drove to Cleveland recently for work and had no problems, so I hope to have a fun weekend next summer!

This will be ny 4th Mego Meet but the first sadly with out my brother who is the reason why I started coming 4 years ago (his sis in laws wedding :( ). But it will however be my first as a Husband. Let's get that Hampton Inn link up there ASAP LOL.

Here's the first vacation time I'll be putting in for once the new year starts. Already decided to take even more days off the usual as once the week of the Meet comes I could really care less about anything else going on int he world.
