NEED HELP IDing APES REPRO JUNK

I know this is in the wrong place but I really need help identifying repro APES stuff. I just won an auction where I thought I was getting a killer Ursus and Urko and it turns out that both daggers are awful repros, 3 of the 4 boots feel super thin unlike the other boots I have that are much thicker. Also, each bandolier is a different color. I would really appreciate any help.

Thanks, bmattioli. There is some useful information regarding the bandolier but nothing on the dagger or boots which are definitely being reproduced on Dr. Mego's site. Anyone else?

Here are some pics. Again, all help is appreciated as I know essentially nothing about Mego reproduction items.

First, I will start with the obvious reproduction daggers which is essentially why I paid a premium on this auction.





Next up are the bandoliers which I received. Both are different colors. Are these known to vary and color?





Finally, the boots. Are original Mego produced boots known to come in very thin, flimsy thickness? Three of the four boots are super thin. Is there any way to tell if these are reproductions?





My expertise in vintage toys falls in the Star Wars 1977-1985 era of Kenner made toys. I can spot fakes with ease (most of the time) but as said earlier, Mego Ape stuff is so new to me. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Those knives look rough, even for repros. There's actually some really good repro versions out there including the Mexican bootlegs, and several original versions as the accessory was used across multiple lines including Mego, Cipsa, Lion Rock, etc.

Repro bandos tend to be more red (than brown) in color, can be less opaque, slightly thinner, and more flexible (flimsy kinda feel). The original Mego bandos are incredibly consistent in shape and durability.

Ape boots can be thin or thick in material. I've never seen a pair of repro General three-toed boots. Plenty of repro Soldier boots out there tho.

I'm in agreement that the bandoliers and boots are fine but the swords look odd.. This is just my opinion though as seen by your pictures.. The only way to really tell is to compare an original piece with the one in question, which I'm sure you already know but I'll state once again. Repo stuff is sometimes quite the challenge to identify.. I do not like them.. Good luck..
