What would help would be a continuation with coverage of other Mego lines. Coverage of the Sci-Fi stuff would really make a nice companion volume. Ben doesn't have to write it, (I know he said Super Heroes were it for him). There are some others here who could write a companion volume. A Micronauts book would be nice too but I can't get a certain member here to write it.

I just ordered the book from BAM and they said the book is backordered after charging my card. It says delivery is NOT guaranteed and it could take 2-4 weeks for shipment. My question here is: has this happened to anyone else and did they ever get the book, or should I just request a refund.

Since it's out of print, I'd ask for a refund. It is available as a digital download now for about $13 bucks. Or you could try eBay and probably spend way more than that.

I'd love to own this book. Obviously I've known about Mego since I was a youngster and had quite a few of the figures, but since I started buying FTC's Batman 1966 line and their Superman series, I've seriously caught the bug here.

was long aware of hefty asking prices on ebay/amazon and found my copy for $65 at strand books in nyc about a year and an a half ago. brought it to check-out with no hesitation. highly recommend that place when in the big apple- a bookstore you could completely get lost in for hours- graphic novel and comic artists dept alone!
