You may see an entirely different message today - I just received mine less than an hour ago saying my copies were shipping from Lexington, KY. Since I picked up my own copy while I was in New York I'll be giving them as gifts to my young nephews who are beginning to pick up the Mego bug from Uncle Derek. I can't wait to see the looks on their faces as we thumb through WGT at "Reading Time".

Lexington is only 40 miles away from me. Here's hoping today is the day (at least for the shipping notice)!

You should be able to purchase one from the U.S. site and have it shipped to you in the U.K. I remember buying the Bloomsbury edition of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows from Amazon.UK and had no problems having it shipped to me in the U.S. I have also purchased books from Amazon Canada...books that can't be found on Amazon's U.S. site and have no problems with either.

That's correct. I logged into Amazon UK to buy the UK versions of Ellis Peter's Brother Cadfael mystery novels, and logging into it with my US ID and password worked not only to carry over my address info but also did the currency conversion for me as well. Hopefully it should work the same in reverse for you.
