What I use in to push Pin into the" bushing ",Yes folks its called a bushing
Is a Drift. Now, you said that the pin is loose. on that the pin size lenght may be little longer ,
or its not pushed enough , , find a nut that that is the same size as the bushing flange. place the nut on work surface (NOT THE KITCHEN TABLE) Place the knee with the bushing side down over the nut(pin head should pointing up) take a unshaperen pencile and place it on the pin's head , and push down.this should lock it in tighter if pin is not all the way in, You should see the locking knob of the pin sticking throught the bushing center.Last edited by AAAAA; Jan 18, '10, 2:16 PM.Leave a comment:

Was it sufficient for you to push the repro knee pin parts together with your fingers or did you use pliers or some other tool? I'm trying to replace the knee pin on my General Urko and it doesn't seem to fit as tight as the other knee pin when I push it together by hand? Just wondering...I am also a newbie at figure repair. Sorry for intruding on your thread, shornk!Leave a comment:

Thanks AAAAA. I just got a message from the Doctor and he said exactly that. Large versions are for the Hulk knee pin. The Hulk's elbow is the regular knee pin and socket. His knee pin is the large set.
Thank you everyone for your help.Leave a comment:

I think the Doctor is not in currently. I'm unable to get a response from him, but I'll definately wait for the better quality. He is probably busy due to the whole EMCE WGSH release.Leave a comment:

I hit a bump in the road. There are two differant 8 inch figure knee pins listed on Doc Mego's site. Which ones work with Star Trek Figures? The normal 8 inch or the large 8 inch?Leave a comment:

Kneepin questions
I've got four figures with broken knee pins. Anyone know the merits between the differant choices out there? There are the CTVT pins at the MegoStore and the 8 inch knee joints sold in differant colors from Doctor Mego. Which ones are sturdier? I like the Doctor Mego pins because they come in differant colors.Tags: None
