Need help identifying this Mego girl

    Hi-
I'm new to the forums, but I'm wondering if anyone can help me id this figure. She's approx. 7.5" tall, fully jointed, 1972 Mego on her back. The dress is a Mego issue, but I'm not positive it's the correct one for her.
    Anyone know who she is?
    Thanks!

I could be wrong. . .but I think Plaid Stalion may have made a line of these as well.

        Hi...
I thought it was Dinah-Mite at first too, but the eyes are so large on this & have the extra big lashes painted on...maybe a variant face? The head shape is the same, nose...lips are that odd pink color and she has rosy cheeks.

Check the back of her head and see what trademark info is stamped into her.

Looks like a Dinah to me, too, only with a haircut (bangs) and a paint job. Some creative soul may have made her their own.

It's not Dinah-mite but I think a mego body with another doll's head. What does the back of the head say?

                Hi all...
There is nothing on the back of her head (or on any other part of her head either!). The hair is rooted on in rows similar to the other Mego girl dolls I have , and the ears look the same. The eyes are definitely NOT repainted, the eye makeup and all are original. The head fits on the neck tightly and is not loose, it lines up exactly with the neck joint.

I found this piece at a yard sale from an older lady, it was the only toy she had on the table but she didn't know who it was, just that it was an "old one".

Is it possible Mego bodies were used by another company down the line somewhere?

I know what you mean about the eyes. I wondered if the head was swapped too. . .but then I looked at the shape of the head, the nose, and the painting of the eyebrows, and it definately seems to be mego line - these features are identicle to the Dinah-Mite, but I agree some features are way off. I figured someone more knowledgable would happen along to bring more info.

I think she's that European Holly Roode girl. The one who was the equivalent to Dinah-mite.

I think that her picture is somewhere here on the Megomuseum, but I can't remember where.

Or maybe it's Joe Bonavita's site.

It's definitely one of the two.

Here's a link to the Rood Super Girl. That head doesn't look like this one.

Wasn't the health spa Dinah Mite a differnt head? Could this be one of those.

                          It's not a HS Dinah.

It's a leggy doll head made by hasbro on a mego body.
