I need paint info if you know....

I have recently discovered my husbands childhood Megos and on is in need of a serious makeover. Green Arrow has some paint rubbing on his head and I was curious what color and paint type I should use to repair him. You know the saying, "No Mego left behind!"

I've restored one recently. I use acrylic paints with a matte finish. It's about $1 a bottle. You'll probably have to mix colors to get it right. GA hair is yellow, but pure yellow doesn't quite work. You'll need to add just a touch of green. Just a tiny bit. That should bring it to mego GA yellow.

Hmmmm....

Automotive interior vynil paint. Soaks right into the plastic, creates a better bond than the original paint. Also produces incredibly hazardous fumes. Use it outside. (And generally only comes in spray cans. I spray a bit into the lid.)
