Please Help - MEGO WANTS YOU TO GO APE PHOTO - Authentic???

Hello, I am a new member but I have collected MEGOs for a long time.
My favorite line is POTA so I took a chance on this poster.
Can anyone tell me whether this 11 X 17 inch POSTER is authentic or not?
Any help would be appreciated.
I am sorry for the title - I made a mistake and called it a photo.

I have a reprint of this poster. the number written in on yours, just below the 20th century fox logo, looks to be hand written. on mine it is printed. not sure if that means yours is original or not

The number is NOT hand written.
I can tell under magnification.
The fourth photo down is the M under magnification.
You can see the blue stops around it and there is an outline of white.
I believe that MP1241 is the poster number.

The arced white line that goes horizontally towards the 20th Century Fox looks to be an indication that it is a repro. Unless that is an actual crease in the poster...it's a repro in my opinion. Hope that helps.

It's a copy. The MP in the number stands for Masterprint. These were sold by a company called Popcorn Movie Posters. I know because they came to our store and photographed our originals to make them.

The 11x17 size is always a dead giveaway also, since it's the size of most common commercial laser printing. No actual movie posters from that era were printed that size.

TO Confessional: The poster examples you showed me are not the same one. My poster is the 11 X 17 version.
TO Blue Meanie: The part that you point out is not really a crease/fold.
It looks to be an intentional line in the print itself. It is not a place where it would have been folded and there are no other areas where a fold is present.

For what its worth, it does not look like a scanned copy as you can see by the microscopic photos it appears to be a RE-print.

No problem...here is a link to when we (The Last Moving Picture Company) had the original. It was sold back in 2009, so I don't remember what it went for. Estimate was close to $2000. It was a full size 27x41 inch poster.
I can tell you that often some of the title boxes along the bottom are covered with tape or glued on paper. This was because many theatres didn't show (or didn't WANT to show) all five films on one ticket, so they blacked them out.
