13 inch Mego Questions

Hi everyone.

Ive been having a great time getting megos from childhood.

Now that I am re collecting I want to know about the 13 inch line:

There are 2 types of bodies on the males- is there a height difference too?

Hulk is in what scale with this line? Bigger?

Are the females like Wonder Woman, Nubia, Queen Hippolyta taller then the males?

Were there any Marvel females for this line? Or other females to use?

Anyone else customise this line?

Hi there!

For the male bodies, the muscle bodies are slightly taller (1/4 - 1/2" or so) than the normal bodies.

As with the 8" figures, the large Hulk is shorter than the others, maybe 1/2 to 3/4" shorter than the regular 12" body.

The 12" females are indeed taller than the males, by around 3/4 of an inch. Partially due to their feet being made for high heels. It's kind of odd seeing Ilia and Kate Mcrae towering over the male figures in the Star Trek:TMP and Black Hole lines respectively.

No Marvel figures at all, unfortunately. It would have been cool seeing an Invisible Girl, along with the never produced Mr. Fantastic.

Its funny that the HULK is way smaller then the others when he should be a giant.

They did a scaled down Robin I think? or is that my imagination?

Do you know if anyone has customised a Mr Fantasic and Invisible girl? Im not much of a Marvel fan BUT I always enjoyed the FF.

That's corrrect, Mego made a 9 1/2 inch Robin, in addition to a 12" magnetic and non-magnetic version (the 9 1/2" Robin is hard to find and the 12" non-magnetic one is pretty rare).
