Boxed Spider-Car included with the factory insert?

I purchased a boxed Spider-Car (8" figure) from Robyn on the Facebook Mego Mania group last week. It's missing original insert. I'm wondering is this box included the insert from the factory? I had it on my birthday '76. I can't remember if it had insert, my father threw it's original box away....
