    Bele Head Altered?

Is this Bele head the way it is supposed to be or was it altered? The white part of the face is painted. Should this be painted or just white rubber?
I just realized his name is cheron, not Bele. Duh.

I was asking if my Mego Bele head had been repainted by someone or if this is how they are suppose to look. I notice some brush strokes on the white part.

A hideous creature of enormous size and alien power, it waits for it's time to return patiently. For it has all the time in the world while it waits for the stars.

Mine is white vinyl and the black portion is painted. Perhaps it was stained and someone painted it to correct the problem. I would recommend removezit to remove any unwanted staining if you uncover any. However, do not let the paste touch any paint you want to keep. It doesn't discriminate. It will remove any and all paint/ink from the orignial vinyl that it comes in contact.

That guy doesn't look too much like Frank Gorshin but he sure does look like Astronaut Virdon. Too bad he doesn't look like Charlton Heston. That would really be something.
