Fist Fighter Captain America star emblem?

Does anybody have a all original FF Cap A with original emblem? I am trying to find out which style emblem he should have, felt or cloth. I picked up a regular Cap with an original cloth star but before I switch it across to my FF Cap i'd like to know if it is correct to the FF figure.

I think it's actualy felt, Paul. I'm not sure why I remember this, but I've checked into it before.

I want to add that I'm talking about the slick material versus the fuzzy material. The slick material seems to be the one that's correct.

Oh, now i'm confused

According to Bens book there are two types, the `fuzzy` felt star or the smoother `waffle` like cloth one that appeared on later figures.

So maybe I am OK to peel it off and put it on my FF after all?
