Hello. I got a beat up Type 1 Superman today. As I was cleaning him up I discovered that there is no copyright or markings on the head. Can anyone tell me more about this? Thanks.

Or 2 other things...one that got through the line that the copyright is there but so faint you can barely see it. Or it can be a type 2 later version head that was placed on a type 1 body. I have a Type 2 Superman that is in the personal collection. Pulled it off of a card that was literally a beater. Figure was mint...but the bubble and card were thrashed. Has no copyright on the head at all. It was taken off of a 1979 Superman card. One of maybe 3 figures that I bought complete in 16 years of collecting Megos. If I can find my camera I'll take a pic of the figure.
It would help this thread a lot if you can take a pic of the figure."When not too many people can see we're all the same
And because of all their tears,
Their eyes can't hope to see
The beauty that surrounds them
Isn't it a pity".

Picture would be helpful. Or I could ask that question right back. "What Superman do you have?"
Tan T2 and mocha T1 is clearly not the same. Mocha is a lighter pigment lacking the peach or pinkish element common to early Mego T1 heads.
See top two left and second from left. That general area

Early Superman heads have very faint copyright markings. or you might have a Don or alter ego head.Comment
