POTA Rifle question

I've new here (joined yesterday) and I hope this isn't a stupid question but I keep seeing POTA rifles for sale at various places listed as "Urko rifle, Ursus rifle or basic soldier ape rifle" The site here says the rifles are all the same. Is there a story here? BTW, I see a lot of discussion about the Mego trading cards but not about how to get the cards to start. Am I missing something? Thanks, JOHN

there is just one pota rifle. the urkpo or urus and soldier ape all had the same one. there is a white mego rifle(machine gun ). look under the mego museum trading card section palitoy usually offers starter sets. when he has time

The white rifle came with the Action Jackson navy set

I did notice on one of the auctions recently, the rifle listed as the soldier ape version was a rifle with the barrel tip missing (broken off)

The broken rifle is possibly a AJ Rifle, which is a hard Polystyrene plastic,
The apes Rifles are more flexible Polyethylene.
There from the same production molds just different plastic
