    Frayed capes

Anyone have any ideas on how to stop the fraying of the vinyl capes other than the good ole trim job?Any input would be appreciated.

Well, I see there is Aleene's Stop Fraying, and Speed-Sew. Anyone used them for fraying capes?
Best fabric glue 2024 for fabric repair and craft projects. Fast drying, durable and 100% washable for long-lasting results. Trusted fabric glue for 50 years.

How to use Aleene's Stop Fraying

    1. To stop fraying on cut fabric edges, brush or squeeze a thin coat onto edges of fabric before hemming or seaming. Make sure glue soaks into fabric edges. 2. To stop fraying on ribbon, dab glue sparingly onto cut edge. 3. To stop fraying on trims, apply glue around trim at point to be cut first. Allow to soak in and dry. Then cut. 4. Stop Fraying can darken or give a wet appearance to some colors and fabrics. 5. Always test for best results.
