Replacing T1 hands

I have a T1 Mr. Mxyzptlk, one of the hands (the right) is quite rough. I was thinking of replacing just the hand, as sometimes you see for sale on e-bay the odd Riddler arm etc, with a perfectly good purple hand attached, which happens to be the same as the Riddlers.

How easy is it, just to replace the hand on one of these figures?

You might consider getting elastic and replacing the arm. It would probably be easier.

it's easy to replace with hot water:pop of, pop on. i do it all the time. the only potential prob is once a T1 part breaks, it usually stays broken (unless you are incredibly industrious and patient; or u have a multitude of extra T1 parts).

i think hobub's arm-replacement suggestion is another otherwise best-idea

I tried the new FTC hands on an old CTVT body. They fit so loose, they would not stay in the arms.
