    Wonder Woman/SS question?

when did Wonder Woman come with boots? did the early SS version ever have boots would be more my question? seems like most of the ones ive had and seen carded/boxed with boots were cuffed versions. im working on putting together a set of silkscreens on repro kresge cards and wanted to be accurate. i know batgirl had gloves, catwoman had gloves and sometimes boots, if im right but not certain about wonder woman.

I think when it comes to the SS super gals its hard to get a definitive answer.
They seemed to be constantly in transition.
    Sorry that's not much help.

I've wondered about this, too. I thought screened bracelets=no boots.

Holcomb's WGT indicates that early and latest (Aussie carded) WW did not have boots.

But it also mentions that sometimes SS suits & accessories (on "Kresge" Catwoman, for example) were mixed. So I guess anything is possible.

This photo is blurry, but the owner of this card, Ken ("the editor" on these message boards), confirmed that this piece has SCREEN PRINTED sleeves and plastic boots. Kind of cool that you can get so many different versions of Wonder Woman figures on this same (1st Version Kresge) card: Screen printed (SS) only, SS with plastic boots (as shown below), and standard (stitched sleeves, not SS) costume design with plastic boots.

          Thanks for the clarification, Ben.

It always surprised me that Mego was willing to add "bracelet" cuffs but not remove the screened boots.

Isn't it weird? Mego did a lot of mysterious things when it comes to WGSH, and Wonder Woman is responsible for several "hunh?" moments.

That or why did they include the plastic boots.
