Looking for pricing on Planet of the Apes figures...

Hi,

I have been out of the mego game for over 10 years, so I need some help figuring out prices. I searched ebay and could not come up with anything, so I thought you guys could help me out. What would loose, but absolutely mint, Dr. Zaius, Cornelius, Zira, and soldier ape figures go for these days? These guys must have been bought through Sears, as they still have the cellophane wrappers. The person selling them wants 80 for the four. Back in the day, I know this would have been a great deal, but I see that everything has now been remade, so I am not sure. Any help would be great...

$20 per figure, still sealed? I'm no expert, but that sounds like a fantastic deal to me.

They are not sealed, but they were stored in the bags and look to have never been played with. I plan on buying them regardless, I was just curious if 20 a figure is what they go for now or not. I used to spend 40 and up on nice complete loose figures, but like I said, that was the late 1990's and early 2000's. Searching completed ebay auctions, the prices seemed to have dropped some, but its hard to get a good idea.

The Soldier is the deal in this lot.It cost more to complete one than this.The rest can be had cheap on ebay.
The old days of 50 an ape loose are done. At least on Zira, Zaius, and Corny. They are all super common. The rest of the line is still around that 50 mark if really nice. If you are getting started again large ape lots on ebay with the playsets is the way to go.I often see playsets with apes sell for about the same as playsets without apes.
