The T-1s are not as easy as the T-2s.
I have done a bunch with the boil and pop method, but I have had a couple that were impossible or flat out broke.
    Lots of boiling and luck!

Do you drop the arm in the water and bring it to a boil or do you boil the water first then submerge the limb in

I usually drop the arm into a Pyrex cup of boiling water. It may take 1 minute in the hot water, or several minutes.

Yeah, I'm always used boiling the water first then drop the arms in the dish bowl that'll works great.

Also, I poor the boiling water on the crooked legs and holds the leg down a bit in 5 mins then checking it again to see if it's straight or not. If it's slight crooked then poor the boiling water on it again will showing up straight legs and arms without damage it's original parts or faded color. Mine never have been faded, it's still mint cond.
