12" ?? version of Dinahs Campus Co-Ed?? Fit any US Megos??

Just got what is a larger version of the outfit from overseas.
Same sweater and jeans! Too big for Dinah. So was wondering if any US Megos used the outfit?

Might not be a total loss though, I can use the material to repair the sweater from my damaged one!

Not sure about this specific outfit. But I have been finding Mego made some outfits in 8in,9in, and 12 in scales. So there could be a Barbie type Mego with it, who knows?

Before you do that, could we get a picture???

And I've never seen that outfit in 12". Heck, I didn't even KNOW they made them in that scale.

I am guessing it is a Maddie Mod outfit. Mego rescaled a lot of outfits between AJ and Fighting Yank, and Dinah and Maddie, and sometimes even re-purposed fabric designs for different outfits.

Yeah, that would be my assumption as well.

Now that I never knew. I had never even heard of Maddie Mod when I was a kid; I was fixated on Dinah and the other Mego 8" gals.

Well, truth be told I got this from the UK and the doll was Sindy. I was just curious if there was a Mego doll that used the clothes, as the sweater is tagged Mego. Knowing it was used as Dinah, I never considered it being anything else!
Consider this was an error on my part that I didn't check out the Sindy doll size!
I found the auction and quietly waited.
Here's a site showing it on a 1975 doll. From what they show, it ran 1 more year.

She had better fashions than Dinah did!

Pedigree (who made Sindy for many years) and Mego had some sort of ties (as many companies did back then). Their competitive offering to Action Man (GI Joe), Tommy Gunn, was the head Mego used for Fighting Yank. I know Maddie Mod outfits were marketed for barbie sized dolls, so it isn't a big stretch to imagine that Pedigree went to Mego for many of their branded outfits. Cool find though. I'm sure I've seen more than a couple Maddie Mod outfits in that scale that are nearly identical to Dinah outfits (nurse, bridesmaid, etc)
