    Action Jackson Question

Ok, perhaps a weird question buuuuuuuut:

I looked at the AJ page in the galleries, and listed are white AJ, Black AJ, and white AJ with beard, plus hair color varients. Was there ever a black AJ with a beard? I SWEAR I had one, it was actually my first or second Mego (The ohter first or second was an RC Batman, both of them broken and trashed prolly 40 years ago). I swear I can remember thinking he had a beard, if that makes sense. Not saying I think I remember him having one today, I remember THINKING he had one at the time. Is this a figure that existed, or simply a 6 year old poor perceptive skills?

    Hmmmm....

I've never seen one, but it's possible you're confusing some other Mego-esque figure with an AJ. I did make a custom though:

So; Here's the last of the AJ army; asian guy with beard, black guy with beard, and Action Jackson JR.: When doing the beards I wanted to go stereotypical 70's. AJ JR has an "action mullet," but it's hard to tell from the pic. Now that team AJ is done, what's next?: Don C.

Was definately Action Jackson I got a white, bearded Action Jackson later that year and remember being surprised that he was white.

Again, it is POSSIBLE it did not have a beard, but I sure remember it having one.

this would have been '73. Not sure what other 8 inch figure it would have been at that time.
