    Elastic in Conan's fur shorts???

I recently acquired a couple pairs of Conan'sfur shorts. One pair has an elastic waist band that's pretty well worn out and barely attached. The other pair has no elastic waist band at all. Did they originally come with the waist band or not? I looked in the galley section here and it covers the accessories but not the shorts. Any info would help.

    Thanks!

Hmm, hard to speak in absolutes when Mego is concerned, but I believe Conan's loincloth should always have elastic in it. My original from childhood lost its elasticity over time, but every one I've ever owned has had the elastic, IIRC.

This is very confusing for me--I recall reading in Ben's book, "loincloth like a fur diaper with elastic openings." But I've had two Conans, one loose & one boxed, and I don't recall elastic.

I've closely examined the boxed one I still have: the leg openings are merely hemmed, and the waistband closes with a snap. No elastic that I can see.
WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.

I don't remember any of my Conan's having elastic either.

I think you may have cloth's for the One Million B.C. figures, I think they had elastic.

Edit: Just checked and my Trag and Orm both have elastic loincloths...

Wel, I've obviously mis-remembered. I don't currently own a Conan , but I do recall now that there was a snap, so they wouldn't have had elastic, obviously. My bad.

I've re-examined both pairs and both have snaps in the back. The only elastic that I found was at the waist on one pair. There's no elastic around the leg openings.

One Million B.C. has no elastic on legs but does on waist, Conan no elastic on legs or waist, both have a snap, so I thinnk you have a pair of each. At least based on my figures...
