    Thor Helmet

I have 3 Thor helmets and I think all are original....However, all 3 are different in some small way. I know Mego and no two things are alike usually, but like George, I am still curious. What is the surefire way to know what is a repro??
Any tricks or secrets I should know about?

One that I have is SUPER shiny. Looks brand new.
    One is very "tarnished"
The 3rd has a "matte" finish...

    HELP!!!!!

Hmmm. The tarnished one is likely normally aged--can you see scuffing/patches of clear base plastic?

The matte one strikes me as repainted.

The molding and chroming on these helmets should be pretty consistent. I've seen the tarnishing you describe on some Romulan helmets.

Original Thor helmets were very shiny chrome - I used to own one and that's what it looked like. I have a repro from Doc and it's matte with no markings that it's a repro.
