Mxyptlk's package color

Never been able to pin it down. Sometimes it seems orange, sometimes a pale red. And comparing it to the banner/masthead that is supposed to be red usually shows a match to the background color. Which means it should be red like the Cap America package. I wonde if Mxy is red and was printed in an ink that faded much worse than other packages that retain the red.

I've wondered about this, too--it does seem to match the masthead color, which is an orangish-red. Mxy packages often fade to orange, but they seem to be a duller shade of red than Cap if you look at undamaged areas. Besides, I can't imagine Mego putting two Super-Foes (also Penguin) in orange packaging.

If I was going to order a repro box, I'd request red--but for a custom one, I'd choose "Shazam!" blue.
