Bubbles cracking for no apparent reason?

Hey gang got a question. Long story short I just saw this morning that the bubble of a carded Klingon I have is now cracked right at the top. It's split right along the top of his head and then cuts over to the right top corner of the bubble. The thing is it's only been on display and not messed with in any way.

I noticed that the figure was tight in there but didn't think it was tight enough to cause that type of damage. Could the plastic of the bubble by chance contracted? Has anyone else had a problem like this?

Hmmmm. What kind of climate do you keep it in? Sometimes the aging process combined with temperature fluctuations can add to the brittle quality of plastic as it degrades.

My thoughts exactly. I have never had a bubble crack on its own, or because of the environment.

I think he had some help.

              Do you live with others?

I too would have immediately questioned the wife and toddler in most cases but this one was weird. Since it arrived it has only been touched by me... and been in the exact same place on the wall.

I did note that the bubble is crooked and not centered on the card, a little sloppy if you will. But the main thing that grabbed my attention at first was how tight the figure was in there. Are your carded Klingon's in similarly tight bubbles?
