Know of any Mego 8" scale arm bracers?

Looking for a set of Mego 8" scale arm bracers. Like the Mego Knights leg armor, but for the forearms.

Can anyone think of anything that would fit the bill?

    Thanks!

Thanks for the suggestion! I looked up pictures on those...I just don't think they will fit the bill. There has to be something out there, darn it!

        Hmmmm....

What do you need them for? There might be a way to make some, depending on what they're supposed to look like when done.

Hey. Just for a custom figure. I was thinking that maybe I could make a set out of plastic card if all else fails.

There are a few things you can do, depending on what you need:

-For Conan-esque ones, I like to use elasticized fabric.... like them stretchy band belts some Megos have. Colour them with a Sharpie.

-For ones that enclose the arm, take a forearm and slather on the Vaseline, then build up the part with epoxy putty. It’ll slide right off, wash in warm water and dish soap when done. If the part goes over cloth, wrap the arm tightly in masking tape a few times to compensate for the thickness of the cloth.

-You can hybridize a part too: for stuff like bracers use the epoxy trick, sculpt the part but add either hooks or holes so’s you can attach elasticized bands afterwards.

There is another way but it takes awhile...coat the body part on the area needed with elmers glue...let dry then add another coat...repeat until you have the desired thickness...it's even a bit flexible when done...
