    One Million BC figure Question

Does anyone know if the legs on these figures can be restrung? I just bought a lot of 3 of them and the rubber bands that hold the legs on are all dry rotted to the point that they are gonna fall off soon....So is it possible or should I just try to get my money back?

They take a special smaller version rubber band like the T2 bodies. You can restring them, but the legs won't be the same without the rubber bands.

    They look like this.

Would Fonzie have this band in his legs?

I just looked at a Fonzie I have and his rubberbands go up into the torso, with regular T2 bands. Odd...

I did this to mines,..I used the CTV bands, I cut them by the middle, cut off the extremeties on each loop and reglued them back with KRAZY GLUE to make them shorter (like the one pictured by KAOTICK)...works like a charm!

why not just use some cloth type elastic?

Tried that, pelvis seems shaped a little different or cut different, and no matter how tight you tie it the legs fall out if you try to move them at all.

The legs tend to be kinda floppy even with a proper band. You could try multiple loops of an elastcized cloth band, hook up one leg, pull through and hook up the other.

Nice...I think I'll give it a ride...I contacted the seller about this and he's gonna give me some cash back. I'm pretty sure it was a good deal, even with the leg issues. It was the 3 adult males, mint right off the card, complete with necklaces, spears and cards/bubbles for $65. So long as it can be repaired, I'm not too upset about it...
