Loctite Vinyl, Fabric & Plastic Adhesive

    OK!!!
I discovered that this Lizard head had a torn neck plug.
I didn't know what to use to repair it.

    So...
I went out and bought Amazing E-6000, that is made Eclectic Products Inc. (They also make Household GOOP and all GOOPs).
This one says Industrial Strength on the tube, and the chart on the package says best for rubber and vinyl over Super Glue, etc.
I tried it twice, and both times the glue never really dried. I was just stretchy and gooey, and the rip was not mended.

Recently, I purchased Loctite Vinyl, fabric & plastic and it seems to have done the trick!!! I will update this if I have any problems but at this time
    I say BRAVO!!!

Now I have to get going cuz I have a Shazam and A.J. next plug to glue!!!

        Hmmm...never thought about that stuff.
Yeah, keep us posted on how it does!

This is my favorite stuff right here:

I love this stuff! I've fixed Mego heads, tears & holes in Mego gloves, torn arm holes on Emce bodies. Dries fast & holds tight, strong & flexable!
        This stuff's AMAZING!

So, if that stuff doesn't work, give this a try.
You'll find it in most craft & fabric stores.
You can probably order it online, too.

Hmmm... now that I've looked more closely at your picture, your stuff seems almost identical to my stuff, although different manufacturer.
I'll have to pick me up a tube of that stuff.

            Nice thread!
When I got my BBP Dr Who, the neck plug had come pre-ripped for me (wamp wamp!) and I didn't want to wait on getting a replacement, so I fired up the ol' digital heated wax pen to 400 degrees and was able to melt/resculpt the plug together.

Not worth picking one up if you don't have it already - but I learned it totally works!
