I had these since the 70's and cannot remember what figure they came with - Does anyone know? (The red is just for comparison - It is from 8" Wonder Woman)

They are cool 70's color too!! They would look nice on a bootleg!!
They seem like the standard Mego mold for these type of boots. Maybe a Dinah Mite outfit??Comment

Years ago. I got a Mego Dorothy wearing those same boots off ebay. If they are not Mego. They might have come from some fashion doll knock off from that era.Comment

These are not Mego boots. The red ones are not Wonder Woman boots. The main source for these was knockoff Barbie stuff from the 70s and 80s. They would be sold in header bags or flimsy cards. Typically they would contain boots and shoes, combs & brushes, hangers, and random accessories like record players, radios, cameras, sunglasses, tennis rackets, etc. My sister had a case full of that stuff when we were kids. But definitely not Mego at all.Comment

That would make sense! I just bought the Wonder Woman boot from Ebay, I thought it was just faded. I just checked with my other Wonder Woman. The boot is slightly fatter but is marked "hong Kong" in the same manner. Did a company just copy the mold??Comment

Unfortunately Joe, neither the boots you bought from ebay or the other boot you describe are Wonder Woman boots. All of them are the same type of Barbie knockoff. Some had markings, some did not. A Mego Wonder Woman boot looks just like a Batgirl boot other than the color. Check out the accessory check her on the museum.
If you look in Barbie lots, you can find hundreds of the Barbie boots in lots of colors. Lots like this:

You know what - I did not even check when I bought her from a member on here (I will not say who) - Now it is obvious!! I just assumed since they said "hong kong" on them they were real. I have a mint batgirl and I see now!!
The ebay ones I may just return!! They were only $14
Great! you live an learn!! Thanks so much for the helpComment
