    Western Heroes/ Kresge

I know that Kresge cards are widely sought after, but is that limited to just the Super Heroes? What shuould a Cochise on kresge go for, compared to boxed?

Western Kresges seem to be more prevelant, if you are patient you can get them for $100 a piece.

I paid under $50 each for all of the carded Western figures and most of the boxed guys. I think $55 shipped for the boxed Cochise was most I paid for any of them. I think the boxed Cochise was the only boxed figure that didn't come with the bag.

Nostalgia just ain’t what it used to be.

As with anything, you can always hold out for a deal and get them cheap. That said, I think the $100 mark would be considered the average for a fair condition carded Western. I think a really high grade example would probably double that though.

I do disagree that they are more prevalent than Kresge WGSH though. I find them to be quite uncommon. I'd say I see at least 3-5 WGSH (total, not specific characters) for every Western. That said, there are nearly 3 times as many characters available in the WGSH. I don't think there are many like me who keep as close track on the Westerns though as they are obviously not even in the same ballpark as far as desirability/demand.

It seems like I'm seeing them regularly but it may be the same ones, I've probably owned a complete set twice around, wish I could say the same for the monsters...

Well, I don't actually collect these and had come across a carded Cochise. The bubble looked as though it had gotten too hot and melted, so it was misformed. Otherwise in decent shape. The card wasn't terribly beat. Anyway, I just sold it for $90. Hope it wasn't too cheap.

Thanks for the information. When I get my WGSH, POTA & Star Trek completed, I will probably regret having sold it. For now however, it lets me buy other goodies I am looking for now.

Wow! I wasn't really holding out for great deals when I picked these up, they were just $35 to $50 for most of them (the Wild Bill was less, but his card is pretty beat up). What are the WGSHs going for? I'd love to trade these for some Super Heroes if they're in the same value range!

There was a set of boxed ones that benbarb was selling which seemed to go for a pretty penny.
