action apeman question need help anwsering

I seen only black an brown plastic boots for the action apenan figure do u know if they ever came with white boots? cuz I seen one with white boots online an it says rare white boots on a action apeman can anyone help me out?

i never saw white,but i have a couple that had orange boots the orangutan ,and the chimpazee,never had the gorilla,i saw over the years lots of outfits variants.i bought my first action ape in 1974 ,still have it,it came with orange boots & rifle ,brown shirt & pants,and green sweater.

so u think its a possibility there is cuz I seen a action apeman figure that has boots like dr.zauis but without the writing on the said I thing it was a tong action apeman figure

you know i dont know to much about the tong figures ,i have also a complete orangutan and chimpanzee ,i have always liked these,they are also complete loose,i wish i knew how to post photos,i have always thought that the boots were to big for these figures,i have always thought thet were used orignally on something else,very much like the mr.rock figure,i had that as a kid,his boots were to big also,the ahi apes had a lot of variants,and until we see one on card with white boots,we wont know for sure,but i wouldnt bet against it.

yeah i like them ahi apes well pretty much anything by that company there my fav toy company even tho i wasnt around for that time but its awesome stuff and yeah the boots were always bigger i have other boots on mi apeman but original clothes have like two that look like dr, zauis with two different clothes outfits but swat boots been trying to get boots and a rilfe like one pair of boots and a rifle would be great but no luck yet but if there was like black brown and orange boots and i long boot version there has to be a white boot pair an other clothes from that same company used them on different figures they made.

could very well be,keep looking on ebay,i have at times seen these for sale with the whole outfits and rifle,and they seem to go fairly cheap,the orangutan seems to be the most common.i was a huge ape crazy kid back in the day,the reason i bought these back then was 1.i wanted more apes,i had everything back then(still have my first megos) the 2nd reason was that,even though the apemen didnt look like the movies or tv series,they did look like the artwork in the planet of the apes magazine comic book story-terror on the planet of the apes ,with alex the chimp and jason the human.by the way the rifle was also,from what i have can be black or dark orange-it may look brown,but it looks orange to me.

it might be orange or a brown faded in to orange and yeah im not to old but i love all that old stuff i have my collection of stuff in the toy room center on this site i liked them cuz how i said i liked that company that made it and i just like the way they made it like the put or detail to them there just awesome figures i got like 5 all together but the other three only have there shirts 2 of them are for sell cuz i like my figures in good shape i always been like that since i started collecting only got 1 original black boot need one more and a black rifle but no luck yet an thats why i was trying to find out if there was white ones cuz then i can just have one complete u know trying to get all the versions an stuff but im not even clothes theres some guy that wants 60 bucks for the rifle i was offering him 30 but wouldnt do it

faded into orange ,sounds right,the same with the boots,$60 for a rifle ?,dont do it ,not long ago i saw a whole complet figure go for less then that,you know you should just use some long action jackson white boots till you can find them-if they exist,sounds as if you really have a kick-*** collection going,i dont have much ahi ,just the apes,and a couple parts from the monsters,and lincoln monsters figures, i mostly have megos and now the retro megos,but if i should see the right deal on ebay,i would go for more ahi,cause like you said ,their awsome .

i wasnt going to do it i was like no way u crazy and like i bought the orangatang one like last year but the clothes were in in mint other some really light light brown stain that u cant really tell there there unless u get right up to it but no original boots or rifle just the figure i think i payed like 75 but i real wanted it so i had to have it hahahah i dont got alot of ahi stuff just the 5 apemans 3 versions on the wolfman 1 with just pants 1 is just the body and the other is naked but its the joined one but he naked lol been trying to find clothe for my jointed wolfman but no luck either and like wen i see a pair of like those boots its always in a lot and i cant offer those big *** lots

i see your point. i always wanted someday to get the wolfman again,i had that as a kid,if i remember right,except for the snaps,the outfit was the same as the original apeman i bought as a kid,take away the sweater,boots,rifle.i always wondered why the apeman did not have the detailed torso or arms like the wolfman,thats a good figure,perhaps the apes came out first .just hang in there and bam! that rifle and boots will be there,and for the right price,i waited a long time to get a masked robin for a good price,and even though the mask was repro,everything else was orignal,and i got a very good one for a great deal.

yeah the outfits the used the same clothes of the monsters and the action apeman and even the adventure man too like the black pants on the ape was the same ones the used for frankenstein and like the brown pants and jacket where the sameones they used for the wolfman. but i think the mosnters might have came out first cuz the monster stuff has been out longer then the ape stuff and they made many veriations of the monsters and some of the monster figures that were made later have the same bodys as the apemans ut i can be wrong just my theory. i was always in to the wolfman an to be honest he was my first like ahi/mego figure i found got it for a $1 an i was almost not going to buy it but i did. and i hope some day i will get the boots and rifle and dang really that rc robin are hella expensive

well for a long time i could not find that robin,they were always $500 or #375 and even as much as $700 for the same thing as i got for only $200,i think your theory is correct,they used stuff as any company does over and over .its funny i always thought the wolfman was the best of that series,i also had the 2nd creature back then,i still wish i had those,i loved the mego monsters,but when it came to the look,as in the movies ,ahi did a fantastic job,the bodies sucked ,but the likeness was dead on,just like you seen on sinister cinema when they ran those classic monster films .keep hunting,and its been a fun chat.goodnite

hella cheap on the robin.. and yeah the bodys were made crappy but that just shows how dead on the were i never really liked the mego ones there just not monster like u know. but yeah i think the wolfman was the coolest one and i hope i find them or atleast buy a complete one and take it apart to complete my other ones hahahha

sometimes it takes awhile for someone to put the right auction up ,and for you to be there at the right time,i just hang in there like a spider in its web,when i wanted a waltons farm house and truck ,everyone wanted way to much,and i never won them,i just didnt want to pay those prices,sooo i just waited ,and keep bidding ,then BAM! i got the truck w box for under $50 ,and a nice farmhouse for $ 131,seems most trucks were $75-!00 with box ,and farmhouse for $5oo,$350 in that range.i think your best bet rather then part by part,is to just get the whole figure.

yeah i know what u mean but i had to get the ahi wolfman jointed version one and is the only one i have ever seen online since i started collecting the wolfman i payed 60 bucks for that version just the body it was in good *** shape like other then one hand being a little lose but those are hard to come across i see more of the human body and brown bodys then the jointed hair ones with the detailed feet and chest so i had too get it ill just end up buyin a complete one and taking the clothes of that an put it on my rarer one. i put a pic up of it right wen i got it and some guy was saying he would give me big bux for the jointed and brown body wolfman but i like the wolfman so i didnt hahahaha im going to have to wait tho i think it be worth it.
